Under 18 Not Admitted

I surfed on over to Mingle to check my blog rating. It seems, as some of you may know, that this blog is not intended for anyone under 18.

In fact, when I first queried I got a G Rating and then quickly figured it was because it was only scanning the posts that were showing (not delving deep into my archives). After a few quick settings changes I tried again. When I did, I got a whopping NC 17 rating.

Here's why, according to the rating system I've used the following words this many times:

death (51x)
dead (30x)
hell (24x)
ass (18x)
bitch (16x)
kill (12x)
hurt (11x)
crap (10x)
dangerous (8x)
crack (7x)
pissed (4x)
asshole (3x)
pussy (2x)
pooped (1x)

And not one fuck in there. I could have sworn I used that word at least once. Go figure. A special thanks to Paige, who curses like a sailor, for turning me on to this.

Hells bells. Mine's NC-17 too. However, all the OTHER sites I wrote for are rated "G". Who knew.

Holy Shit! I got an R rating for using the words death 6x, pain 3x, gun 2x, and rape 1x. I hate to see what it thinks about the rest of my blog!

There are so many things out there to 'rate' blogs on various things. Have you ever seen the one about how much money your blog would be worth? Mine was a wopping $0.00

Never heard of Mingle but I tried it: NC-17. I'm crushed: thought for sure I'd make it to at least a single-X!
