Holiday Love For Our Troops
Each year eMail Our Military sends holiday cards to our troops for Christmas and Hanukkah. This year's project started October 15th and will end December 11th to ensure that all cards and letters can be shipped to meet the holiday deadlines. You can participate by mailing your holiday cards for our troops to eMail Our Military and they’ll ship them to our military in time for the holidays! For detailed information on this great project read and/or print the detailed Holiday Love flyer. DO's
- Do include your return address on your package
- Do place all your unsealed correspondence in a larger envelope or package
- Do include your contact info if you wish to receive a reply
- Do address your cards generally (like Dear Hero, Dear Service Member)
- Do try to include "eMail Our Military" on all your correspondence
- Do tell everyone you know and spread the word! The more the merrier.

I have to say, I hate the word 'miltary' due to the recent global (mis)haps,
yet this seems like a thoughtful thing to do for the the soldiers (a war isn't their call) they are just servers afterall....
serving the nation....and everyone deserves the holiday loving....

Well, military makes sense when speaking generally since they aren't all soldiers. A common misconception.
Only the army refers to their members as soldiers. The Navy has sailors and the Marine Corps has Marines and the Air Force has Airmen and so on.

Hey! I received your facebook message about this and I am totally in, just as soon as this weekend is over since we're having my daughter's birthday with a ton of people from out of town.
Especially since my dad just received his orders, his unit is shipping out for Afghanistan in January. :(
