Hometown Boy Rick Sanchez Makes Good
We all loved Rick Sanchez when he was here in Miami on WSVN and sure, we teased him whenever he said "shocking" in that way that only Rick Sanchez can do. But did you wonder where Rick was or what he was up to?
Wonder no longer my friends, Rick is the latest in a long line of traditional media folks to join in on the new media movement. Rick is now on Twitter and our very own Miami Herald did a nice write up on it at: Rick Sanchez's news show brings the Internet to TV

''Traditional newscasts are losing viewers,'' says Sanchez, 50. "And they weren't going to another newscast, they were going to the Internet. There they feel somewhat more connected than they do to us. I'm trying to reestablish that connection."
